Why am I seeing this Ranked on source trust — TechPowerUp
It ranks mainly on source trust: TechPowerUp is the most reliable outlet we track on this subject, and is the only one on the story so far.
Single-sourced. No second organisation has confirmed it yet.
Link-outLink-out, because only one organisation carries it and no first-party source is on it and the subject could not be identified from the text. Link-out means we point at the publisher and say nothing of our own.
| Factor | Weight | Score | Contribution | Where it came from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Corroboration | 0.35 | 0.39 | +0.135 32% | 1 independent org on the story. Tier-3 aggregators never corroborate — they can show something is circulating, never that it is true. |
| Source trustleads | 0.25 | 0.80 | +0.200 47% | TechPowerUp is the highest-trust source on this story. Trust is taken from the best source, not averaged. |
| Pickup rate | 0.20 | 0.00 | +0.000 0% | One counted organisation, so there is no spread to measure — nothing has picked this up to set a rate. |
| Freshness | 0.20 | 0.44 | +0.087 21% | Halves every 10 hours from the newest item on the story. This is the only factor that rewards a story for nothing more than being recent. |
Corroboration counts distinct organisations, once each, and only from tiers 1 and 2. Freshness halves every 10 hours, so this ranking is a snapshot and will differ at the next build.

The Keychron Q19 HE 8K is a 60% keyboard built around a Hall effect PCB that debuted with the Q16 HE 8K. It features Keychron Ultra-Fast Magnetic Lime switches and a CNC-machined 6063 aluminium case with steampunk styling. The patina finish and keycaps both incorporate steampunk design elements, including dye-sublimated legends in serif font and a compass accent on the escape key.
The keyboard uses PBT keycaps in Cherry profile rather than Keychron's standard KSA or OSA options. An etched Golden Compass pattern appears on the keyboard's bottom. The construction includes an FR4 switch plate and plate-mounted stabilizers for stability.
The Q19 HE 8K is available through Keychron's online store at $254.99. The same Hall effect PCB and switches have appeared in other recent models, including the Carbon 60 HE and Q16 HE 8K.
What happened
Keychron's ongoing efforts to update its keyboard line-up with new models has produced the Q19 HE 8K as its latest special colorway of the 60% Hall effect PCB first introduced with the Q16 HE 8K and recently made another appearance in the Carbon 60 HE. The Q19 HE uses the exact same Keychron Ultra-Fast Magnetic Lime switches as the Carbon 60 HE and the Q16 HE 8K, but it opts for a CNC-machined 6063 aluminium tray-mount case with steampunk embellishments. Both the patina on the aluminium case and the keycaps bear the steampunk design, with dye-sublimated keycap legends featuring a serif font and a compass accent key on the escape key. The bottom of the keyboard also has an etched Golden Compass pattern.
