Why am I seeing this Ranked on source trust — Eurogamer

It ranks mainly on source trust: Eurogamer is the most reliable outlet we track on this subject, and is the only one on the story so far.

Single-sourced. No second organisation has confirmed it yet.

Link-outLink-out, because only one organisation carries it and no first-party source is on it and the subject could not be identified from the text. Link-out means we point at the publisher and say nothing of our own.

Blended score 0.373 — every figure below is computed, none of it is editorial.
FactorWeightScore ContributionWhere it came from
Corroboration 0.35 0.39 +0.135 36% 1 independent org on the story. Tier-3 aggregators never corroborate — they can show something is circulating, never that it is true.
Source trustleads 0.25 0.80 +0.200 54% Eurogamer is the highest-trust source on this story. Trust is taken from the best source, not averaged.
Pickup rate 0.20 0.00 +0.000 0% One counted organisation, so there is no spread to measure — nothing has picked this up to set a rate.
Freshness 0.20 0.19 +0.037 10% Halves every 10 hours from the newest item on the story. This is the only factor that rewards a story for nothing more than being recent.

Corroboration counts distinct organisations, once each, and only from tiers 1 and 2. Freshness halves every 10 hours, so this ranking is a snapshot and will differ at the next build.

The story Written by OVERCLOCK from the sources below

Phantom Blade Zero delivers combat sequences that draw from martial arts film choreography. Players engage enemies using parries, aerial maneuvers, and weapon strikes that flow between multiple opponents. The game includes environmental interactions such as using horses against enemies, creating dynamic combat encounters across varied settings.

The game features a healing system that incorporates collectible items called healer's memories. These can be used to enhance healing capabilities during gameplay, giving players options for managing their health resources throughout combat encounters.

Phantom Blade Zero emphasizes timing and positioning in its combat design. Success depends on executing precise parries and counterattacks rather than button mashing, with the game rewarding players who master the mechanics of chaining attacks across groups of enemies.

What happened

I wasn't around to witness the golden age of Martial Arts cinema, but there are moments in Phantom Blade Zero that make me feel as though I've tumbled through a crack in time onto the set of a kung fu film. There's one particular encounter that sticks in my mind. Approaching a group of enemies in a shaded valley, I slowly raise my sword, and the first enemy rushes at me. I perfectly parry the blow, performing a slow-motion somersault to land behind him and plant my sword firmly in his back. The next guy comes running in, and I kick him in the face while simultaneously stabbing the previous enemy in the throat. A third joins the fray - this one on horseback - so I boot him off his horse, and use his steed to trample his helpless friend into the dust.
